Today, a friend issued another challenge:  “I accepted a challenge to post the cover of a favorite book every day for 7 days, with no review or explanation. Each day I will challenge another friend to do the same.” The no review or explanation was the REAL challenge – I needed to talk about my choice. “AhHa moment” = post a comment and discuss HERE!!!! (sometimes I just amaze myself soooo much 😆)

For my first book, I chose the one that I am currently reading:

This is the same author who wrote “Pay It Forward” – enough reason to read it right there!  My reason for choosing this for my first book of the challenge??  How about 13 “highlights” from 50 pages read (so far)!!!!! It still fascinates me when things like this happen; you start reading a book chosen at random and the message is so powerful and pertinent to where you are on your journey, that there is no way it can be chalked up to “coincidence” I have read quite a few of this type of book over the years, and each time, the insight that happens is like getting hit between the eyes with a 2×4!!

In the words of the Rolling Stones: “You can’t always get what you want But if you try sometimes you just might find you get what you need”
